I recently drove a 2002 Peterbilt, for Oliver Transport, out of Sidney, British Columbia, for Reg Oliver, the owner of the truck. its a great truck, it was a highway tractor, heavy spec'd, but the sleeper was removed, and the pin taken off, and he put a reefer and box on the back, so, it is now a straight truck, with a 550 Cummins, with an eighteen speed on a eaton fuller trans, so, to say it lightly, it moves when you want it to. No one is sure why so big and fast, but I think he wants to maybe put a sleeper on it again, and drive longer hauls, later on, but just assuming, so, not really sure. the truck is basically loaded with all the bells and wistles in side too. I drove it while Reg was on holidays, so now that he is back, i am gonna miss driving it. I had a full load, right to the roof with cherries, from Oliver BC, going to Victoria, BC, and i would't really tell i had a load on, it was great !! The nic name is " Blue Streak ". for reasons unknown.

I am now living in North Delta, working for A & P Transport, working mostly in-town work, but was hauling daily to Seattle, and Kent, and as far as Washougal, WA., a very neat little American working town, on the north banks of the Columbia River, very near Portland, OR. Soon I'll be in the newly appointed 'heavy hauling' division, going to Rainier, OR. and reloading in Kent, Wa. I'll be driving a newer Freighliner Century class, with an extra axel, drop axle, and the trailers will be tridems, with also an extra drop axel, so, a quad tractor and quad trailer, should be fun to learn that eh? I believe they are going to be ex-GTI heavy haulers, but not the baby blue colors, white for now. and white trailers, for now too.
I took some pictures of our new company trucks, still have no logo's or markings, still working on that. they are 2002-2003 Freightliner Century's, with drop axels, for heavy hauling, our new trailers haven't come yet, but will have four axles as well, so, very heavy hauling, can't wait !!! The trucks have a 500 cummins, on an automatic shifter, 18 speed, so nice and easy when i'm in seattle traffic, oh yea, i'll be hauling down to Salem Oregon, as well as Rainier, Oregon, and parts of Washington, south Seattle, Kent, and Pacifica. the trucks are ex-Gordon Trucking, as the colors on the frames show, but are in great shape, fully loaded my company is A & P transport, a division of Alliance Pacific, on Tillbury, Delta, BC. we should be getting them tagged soon.
